L1 TV and Chapeau Magazine present Tefaf Journal
In 2008, the TEFAF tv-project was launched by Chapeau! Magazine and L1 TV: English news about the developments at The European Fine Art Fair, the biggest annual international event in Maastricht.
The show is broadcasted in narrowcasting (closed circuit TV) at the biggest hotels in Maastricht, in several public places such as the Town Hall of Maastricht, the theatre (Theater aan het Vrijthof) and at several locations at the Maastricht Exhibition & Congress Centre.
Ben Janssens, chairman of TEFAF, thinks that TEFAF Journals are a useful communication channel. "Modern audiovisual techniques have also entered the world of art and if the programmes are broadcasted to a limited extend, they will be an interesting medium for both participants and visitors, and for us, as an organisation, this can be beneficial as well. As an extra source of information, this is a good acquisition for both visitors and participants."
