Op zondag 5 februari bestaat The Originals exact 30 jaar op de radio.
In 1982 begon het programma, min of meer als experiment, in België bij de toenmalige BRT-radio in het programma Domino. Daarna adopteerde Hubert van Hoof het bij de KRO op Radio 3 in Nederland. In de jaren ' 90 verhuisde het naar Omroep Limburg en nu loopt het al weer jaren bij L1 Radio.
Originals-lezing op 11 febr. bij Sounds in Venlo
In het kader van het jubileum zal samensteller Arnold Rypens een speciale Originals-lezing geven in platenzaak Sounds in Venlo op zarterdag 11 februari om 16.00 uur.
Komende weken
Op zondag 12 februari herhalen we een speciale carnavals-aflevering uit 2007.
Op zondag 19 februari vervalt de uitzending in verband met carnaval.
